When Fitzgerald ended the Scooter thing, he said, very clearly, "there is a cloud over the vice president". That is very clear. If Scooter hadn't taken the fall, Fitzgerald would have indicted Cheney cuz Cheney's dirty.

He was equally clear when asked about any criminal connection between Blago and Obama. "None exists".

Yet, all day, we hear the media doing that 'indictment by question mark' bullshit they do so well.

"What did Obama know and when did he know it?"

Never mind that there is ZERO evidence of a connection between them apart from having the same state MVA issue their fucking driver's license.

Never mind that Obama NEVER had Blago as a surrogate in his campaign.

Never mind that Blago was as uninvited to the Dem convention as were The Dick and his Boy, George, to the Repubic convention.

Never mind that in the biggest party, in the biggest park, in his state's biggest city, at the first speech of his state's favorite son as President elect, Blago was conspicuous by his absence.

Never mind that the IQ **difference** between Obama and Blago is close the average IQ of the average person.

7. The Blago tapes revel a lot about another criminal Ill. governor..

The tapes reveal a two-term governor who no longer wants his job, badly wants cash and is determined to leverage a financial benefit out of his appointment powers.

He also appears to think little of the president-elect, whom he calls a "motherf***er" at one point.

“F**k him,” Blagjoveich says of Obama during a lengthy call with top aides and his wife recorded on November 10th, “For nothing? F**k him.”

In another section of the complaint, Blagojevich expresses exasperation that Obama and his team aren't willing to offer him an inducement in exchange for appointing an aide, apparently Valerie Jarrett, to the Senate.

Blagojevich "said he knows that the President-elect wants Senate Candidate 1 for the Senate seat but 'they’re not willing to give me anything except appreciation. F**k them,'" says the complaint.

At a Chicago press conference, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald -- interesting few years he's had -- told reporters that Blagojevich had embarked on "a political corruption crime spree" that prompted prosecutors to take extraordinary measures.

The FBI bugged Blagojevich's campaign office and tapped his home phone.

Fitzgerald said the most "cynical" aspect of the case was Blagojevich's "attempt" to sell Obama's vacant Senate seat."The conduct would make Lincoln roll over in his grave," he said.

Fitzgerald was also quick to distance Obama from the case."The complaint makes no allegations about the president-elect whatsoever, his conduct," he said.
