That's my favorite of all of them. :loveya:

The lighting is great, with the shadows and ripples distorting, but the turtles themselves are perfectly in focus and crystal clear. Breathtaking! :applause:

I also really like the one with the cloud/sky/mountain by Blue_In_AK. It's strikingly composed. :thumbsup:

It's just so warm in there.

When I was growing up, we had our laundry in the basement, so dim lighting and a gray kitten made for a tragic accident. It was actually my mom that "did" it (accidentally)...she was a mess about it. I'm glad your aunt's cat lived, though.

90. the calendar was completely put together before the election

regardless of the fact that no one submitted a photo of Obama for the calendar, I'm not sure I would have been comfortable including it without knowing if he won. It could have easily ended up being a really awful reminder of disappointment, which is not the effect we want the calendar to have.

the turtles-- that is an amazing photo!

the kitten peeking out of the basket-- there are a million stories that could be told from that picture.

and the autumn forest reflecting on the lake-- that brings back fond memories of an oil painting that my grandma painted when i was a small child.


My hat goes off to all of the photographers, you are truly artists with your cameras.
