Some here don't get it.

Blogo IS Bush/Cheney: Corruption, pure and simple. All that is different is a matter of degrees, and that is only because Blogo hasn't enjoyed the type of power and wealth that those sub-humans have been spoon fed on all of their lives. Imagine Blogo as president. It takes many of the same attributes, (or lack thereof) to adopt that corrupt, "what's in it for me" mindset that so many politicians are drunk on.

And yes, I'm much harder on corrupt Democratic politicians than republican politicians, probably because we used to be the party of the higher moral ground. I'm embarrassed by this, and I don't mind saying it.

1. I hope you're right and the situation is that simple but I don't think so.
Nothing is THAT simplistic as the "song and dance" that was spoon fed to us today.

Forgive me but I'm suspicious. :(

4. What happened was Rahm Emanuel.

Can you imagine how much of a scandal it would be, if Emanuel took the bait, especially as the Chief of Staff in waiting? No way could Obama dis-associate himself from this. When a federal prosecutor hands down an indictment and says he has recorded conversations that incriminate the Governor, then I think it's that simple.

14. You've been saying this all day. You were going to do some
research earlier. Seems that you are just sure Obama is dirty and involved in this some way huh?

8. Blago believed until now that he was a prime presidential candidate for 2016.
He's just that fucking stupid.

I can only imagine the scale of corruption he would have tried to pull off from the White House.

11. He reminds me of Palin
She thinks she is above it all, that she can do what she wants because she is governor and she is the right's sweetheart.

I look forward to the day they announce her indictment. She is just as stupid as Blago, she keeps abusing her office and thinks she is untouchable.

12. it isn't party affiliation that makes someone corruptible or not
it is the power of being a politician.

With great power comes even greater responsibility.
