My co-workers are surprised to see me so animated about the Blago scandal

Usually, when I'm at work, I don't discuss politics at all unless someone else brings it up. But I work at a hospital. And we get lots of sick and injured kids. And the idea that Blagojevich would even consider withholding money from a children's hospital because his palm was not sufficiently greased by the hospital administrator tells me that all of his expressed concern for the welfare of Illinois children is, at best, base hypocrisy.

So the folks who work around me are seeing a slightly different version of me at the coffee pot today. They think it's refreshing to see me so up in arms over something.

Then again, nobody else in my division is a member of DU... :evilgrin:
