Republicans seize chance to destroy Auto Workers Union
The only reason that the Republicans are striving to stop the bridge loans to the Auto Industry is that they see it as their long sought and golden opportunity to des toy the union. If they succeed, they will see their most cherished dream of setting back organized labor, not only in the Auto Industry, but also their hundreds of union suppliers. If they can force them into bankruptcy, then the union contracts could be voided.

Make no mistake, they hate independent union workers and are determined to once again make them subservient to the owners. Each and everyone of the New Deal legislation that created the Middle Class continues to be their target for destruction.

6. Thanks, but you won't read about it in the "Liberal Media"
This is an opportunity that they won't pass up. Just like their opportunity to destroy "Black New Orleans" and achieve a more racially balanced electorate. Read that as WASP.

2. Welcome to the GOP America: Wal-Mart pay for slave work
It isn't just a coincidence that many of the Republican supporters hail from the South and would like to see another Civil War to "take their country back."

3. I'm constantly amazed at conservative juxtapositions
they wail on about their family values and then expend a great deal of energy to destroy unions which members use to make good wages and pensions and health insurance for their familys.

So one could say that the republican party and its members and its supporters want the American worker to be poor and impoverished and they really don't give a fuck about their families.

4. Yes, anti-worker, anti-middle class, anti-family, anti-good wages, anti-pensions. Jesus told them to
... take these positions.

5. I hope this mess becomes the Katrina of class warfare. Hopefully it
will now become apparent to even the dumbest ostrich that destroying the middle class is the goal of the repukes--and many DINOS.

8. I agree with you.
Far too many of our supposed defenders of the Working Class are as effective in protecting workers as those proposing abstinence sex education are in preventing teenage pregnancy.

9. Unions were destroyed by the "Free Trade" agreements of the 1990s.
The "Centrist" Democrats (DLC) knowingly helped in their destruction. Those Unions still alive today are merely suffering a lingering death...they are on artificial life support.

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

11. Destroying unions is key for a military coup
The only safeguard against a military coup is a general strike. Destroying unions is always the key step, according to Naomi Wolf. According to history.
