and i know a lot of teachers who are wringing their hands over the no child left behind legislation. hopefully that will change soon.

6. No Child Left Behind from the get go was a program based on a fudged facts program that started

under Bush in Texas when he was Governor. They called it the Houston Miracle. In actuality, the Houston schools talked kids whose grades were low to drop out. Therefore, skewing the facts. Another Bush lie that he sold quite successfully.

One way to make a government fail is to sabotage it, and that is exactly what the Bush administration has been doing for the last 8 years.

12. If I were editing the content of the "cartoon" I would question

the agreement of plural (multiple) subject "textbooks and grading" with singular "has been" and maybe change to "have been." (second panel)

Also, I think "curricula" might sound/look better than "curriculum." (third panel)

But hey, I went to public high school many years before NCLB, so that's just me.
