They'd go over big in the bars around here.

2. My wallet is closed if Alabama ever asks for help after a hurricane or tornado
It is also a very racist state.

3. There are racists in every state. And good folks, too. Alabama has their share.
If Alabama calls for help after a hurricane or tornado, I'll do what I can. I don't base my help on a triage of who "deserves" it, I base it on who NEEDS it. The people of Alabama don't necessarily agree with their Senator.

I sure as ***l don't agree with everything Domenici does/says.

I think there's ways to demonstrate what a dickhead we think Shelby is without being the exact same kind of assholes we are indiscriminately accusing Alabamans of being.

peaceably,
Bright

5. I know a few good lefties in that state
but it also took the prize for the most poisonous radio in the country five years ago when I was driving back and forth.

The best thing anyone could do for Alabama--and by extension the rest of Dixie--is to start taxing any church that preaches politics, including insisting its dogma become civil law. That means abortion, kids.

They'd probably stop electing idiots like Shelby if we did that.

Oh, and the good news about Domenici? He's gone. He pled senility to avoid prosecution. There was an article in the paper two weeks ago that said his condition had mysteriously improved. Uh. Huh.

6. Uuhere Can I Get Mine???
Uuhat a uuonderful idea!

Uuhere can I get mine?

Note: In protest of the continuing occupation of OUR Uuhite House by the illegal and totally corrupt Bush/Cheney regime of thugs and cronies, I REFUSE to use the letter betuueen "V" and "X". Instead, I use a "double u", as in "Uuhite House".
