2. He cleared himself, IMO. |

He spoke strongly, without ambiguity. If anything he said isn't true, he's done. I have ever reason to believe he has done nothing wrong.

3. Something was missing. |

I have a hard time thinking that Blagojevich didn't make some demands or 'suggestions' ... and I heard NOTHING in what JJJr. said that addressed such 'suggestions' and how he or his representatives responded. Am I to believe they weren't asked? I'm afraid that's too much of a stretch. Something is missing.

4. I didn't get that, but I can understand how one could |

If anything, assuming you saw/failed to see something there, maybe he is talking to Fitz and is simply and prudently keeping his pie hole shut.

Don't you think? If he's called to testify, he can't have been blathering about his testimony in a press conference, don't you think? I didn't watch, the whole thing is just sickening.

9. That's what I'm thinking, too. |

Negotiating a corrupt environment and maintaining one's own integrity hand honr can be difficult. I've been in a couple of corrupt organizations and have the scars to prove how difficult it is. It's been part of why I developed a lot of respect for Obama. He has apparently been able to walk the walk ... in the toughest political environemnt in the country ... and adhere to his principles. The man is smart ... really smart ... brilliant ... and each day only proves it more.

6. I don't know him, but, I was impressed by his words and demeanor. |

Since he's being named, it was smart to come right out and speak. I can understand why he didn't take questions.

11. I just hope Blagojevich doesn't take down other Dems with him out of spite. |
