If Karl Rove got arrested tomorrow, would the media spend as
much time on the particulars of that case? Would they be wall to wall breaking news about everything Rove had his slippery hands in for the past 20 years?

2. No.
They would find something else to be outraged about to get it off the front burner. If that didn't work, they'd have their stooges on to sweep it under the rug and play it off as something that Rove shouldn't be concerned about, mere technicality, "nothing there, really".

3. Probably, yeah. If he were charged for all that, and there were taped quotes to read off,
etc., etc.

8. Why couldn't Fitz have wired the WH staff
during the Plame investigation? I'm glad Blago is going down for what he allegedly was doing. It seems pretty evident that he was using his power for corrupt ends.

Yet, Fitz never seemed to be able to get a wire inside the seedy dealings of TeamBush. Were they considered too high up in government to use surveillance on? Must have been.

The only way Nixon was finally nailed was his own recordings of himself.

4. Joe Scarborough was actually comparing Obama to Karl Rove today, the fucker
Saying that the media would not be giving Karl "freaking" Rove the benefit of the doubt like they do with Obama, or some bullshit. What an ass.

6. No, it would be just more Democrat driven politics.
It's all Clinton's fault.

7. Absolutely
The MSM sharks really don't care whose blood is in the water. A Rove arrest story would simply be too juicy to ignore - plus the fact that his protector is out of power in a month.

10. I have to laugh at some of the replies here...
The MSM is about sensationalism and nothing is bigger than a Big Name coming down, especially if it's political.

They'd be all over it like flies on shit.
