Perhaps I am just too impatient for my own good.

But, it has taken 6 years for the worm to turn on the bush crooks, and for people to figure out what I knew instinctively just by watching and listening to bush before the 2000 election.

So I am not holding my breath that this process is going to come soon enough to make a diffence.

16. That's great, and expected. But I am not jumping for joy just yet.

This is just the beginning and it doesn't mean that bush (cheney) will comply. It's just the first step in a Constitutional battle.

Please forgive me if my question is ignorant, and possibly covered already by those much more knowledgeable and wiser than me. (I'm still learning!) But if this results in a contempt of Congress motion because they refuse to testify under oath, what is the guarantee that the prosecutor will actually pursue this? My feeling, albeit a very pessimistic one, is that the DC prosecutor is in the back pocket of this criminal administration anyway, and will gloss it over with weasel words and reasoning to drop the case.

I hope I am wrong, but I have been disappointed too many times.
