The ripple effects from this most recent attack in the Republican class war on working people will be recounted as the death blow that properly ushered in The Bush Depression.

But if the price is Republican control of labor issues then I say let them have their damn Bush Depression but make sure it's recorded properly for posterity. It wasn't "Congress" that stopped the auto industry bailout, it was Southern REPUBLICANS. Don't let them run away from this issue too. Hold them responsible for their actions.

I've read that some of the very land the southern foreign auto makers' plants are on was subsidized with state funds. So senators of states that subsidized foreign auto manufacturers to build plants in the U.S. are now blocking a loan to U.S. auto manufacturers.

This is bizarre. I know it's all about money. But at what point does more money trump patriotism? Those Southern Senators who spearheaded the opposition are sell-outs to the highest bidder in their continued class war on U.S. labor.
