US Rep Myrick is going to pull her account at Bank of America because of its credit card that illegals could use....

A Myrick spokesman also confirmed that the congresswoman plans to move her Bank of America accounts to rival Wachovia Corp.

But Myrick would move her accounts to Wachovia Bank, which is sending 80% of jobs to India.

I wonder if Myrick will be getting her donations from India?

4. thanks but this isnt' IT, its the regular processors who do daily work

this is those 4,000 women, many of them single parents,
who process debits, credits, tranfers, reconcile accounts, maintenance
accounts.

Wachovia already screwed the IT dept, but this is new and in addition.

The goal is to get rid of 80% of the work and give it to Gentec,
whose employees make about $6,000 a year.

I was trying to say how ironic it is that Myrick wants to punish "illegals", likely
Mexican, by denying them the opportunity to join us in credit card debt,
but she is perfectly happy to move her money to a bank that is going to offshore
local processing jobs.

Yes, another poster pointed out that BOA did that too, but BOA brought back
some of those business units.

Yes, IT is being outsourced and already is greatly outsourced.

The story is about IRONY.

Not about whether its right to give credit cards to illegals, or that its better to have illegal immigrants benefiting from our economy as opposed to people in India having our jobs.

I don't know why you would be in favor of making credit cards readily available for illegal aliens. They are freaking illegal for chrissakes! Why the fuck should they get credit cards?? They need to be out of the fucking country. Myrick is actually right on this point!
There are many reasons to hate Myrick, but that ain't one. By the way, B of A and Wachovia both donated $250K to GW Bush's re-election party, so fuck them both. And the previous poster was correct about India!
