All my shopping done online before the 24th.

THAT is an accomplishment for me.

I have been on the "web" since the 80's and for me personally, this is a moment of actualization of what it really means to me now. Social interaction like here at DU, acquiring needs as in shopping and even making a living with it.

Now, this is all great at the moment, but if the auto industry goes down the tubes, so do many plastics, steel and tech companies that service the industry. That's a lot of jobs and a lot of companies that will be gone. Along with the companies that service them. Just because the republicans have a hard-on to punish the blue states doesn't mean it has to be so.

Personally, I would love to see this newfangled web thing advance further.

So SAVE CHRISTMAS, PEOPLE and raise hell about the way the repugs blocked the goddamn loan to the auto industry and tried to put a nail in the coffin of organized labor.
