5. A thought on Dads...

Your's is living asswipe, mine died last year. Any sadness or failure of yours can still be corrected unless you are (how shall I put this) a non-functional unit. To become "emotional" about a guy you could fly Air Force One to tonight is at very least disingenious, though more likely a sociopathic attempt at sympathy. My dad died leaving me with tons of guilt for not seeing him in his final week-but he knew I loved and respected him and I knew he loved and respected me.


Want to know about working class dads...Never got to know him fully till we worked together. Not "he was head cheese" and now "I'm head cheese".
We worked in the same company for the same wage.First he was dad and then later just a guy I worked with...But what a guy...bigger,stronger, and surer than myself. And then he showed me the tricks of the trade, the small things that take you from worker to Pro....

What are you crying for drunk chimp? Call your dad up....mine worked himself to the grave to keep his wife and four children fed and clothed and with a roof over our heads. By the time the last of us was finishing school he was in poor health from working hard his entire life. What the hell does he have to cry about?
