Well, they hope to welcome their great-grandchild soon — Jim Palin said Bristol may be giving birth by next week — and they've agreed to speak at an upcoming Indian Wells Rotary Club meeting.

As for their daughter-in-law, Jim Faye had this to say:

“Everyone always asks us what's next for Sarah, but let me give you a couple of examples: We didn't know when they were going to get married — they eloped and let us know after the fact. We didn't know when she was going to run for lieutenant governor. We did not know when she was going to be nominated to be vice president.

“So you will probably know when we know when they make their decisions for the future.
