Wow, Freepers are so f*ing dumb
and most conservatives for that matter!

I don't know why I do, but I trek over to the alternate universe of Freeperland and I found this: http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=83682

It's an article talking about the "tax holiday" that will spur our economy to recovery.

Now, I can't for a minute understand how the party of balanced budgets also supports cutting off revenue to the government. At a time when the federal government is fighting two wars and is $11 TRILLION dollars in debt, and cities and states are close to bankruptcy, their best plan is to withhold money?

:wtf:

Do they not even see how their idea is in direct opposition to their stated goals? This shit doesn't even make sense and would terribly disastrous to an already precarious situation.

And, if someone could explain this to me, I'd appreciate it: For people that don't support welfare, they certainly support corporate welfare. If a business is depending on government subsidies to survive, might they need to rethink their business model? Shouldn't companies be striving to sell their product to make a profit?

1. Yeah. It's neoliberal thinking
If you get rid of taxes, that frees up capital that can then be reinvested into the economy via consumption or job creation.

It just never seems to work that way in reality.

3. Would that be the "trickle down" theory?
I think that the experiments in that idea have failed boldly.

I just really don't get the balanced budget talking point on one hand (because, let's be honest, they don't actually care) and the "tax holiday" on the other. They don't support each other.

2. I won't go there for a million bucks!
I already know it's all the unions fault for these mentally ill jackasses in desparate need for a proper treatment (in padded cells, for their own good).

As for the million bucks: just kiddin' :+

4. Why even bother visiting those low-life sites?
I mean.. we can go gawk at what the dirtbags are saying, but nothing we say to them are ever going to stop the cockroach ridden shit-for-brains from spewing their pathetic little lies..

And really now. It's not like WorldNetDaily is respected for their journalistic abilities!!! WND makes the National Inquirer look like an Encyclopaedia Britannica.

C'mon now margot~~ You and I both know that all of those sites -- the ones that will allow people to respond anyway, will ban your arse in seconds if you dispute any of the b.s. that they vomit out.

Freepers SUCK!

Best thing you can do is stear clear of all of them. They'll still be spewing out the hatred and lies, but you won't know anything about it and you miss it a bit!

Remember. Thousands of wingnut radio stations... tens of thousands of wingnut websites... hundreds of wingnut newspapers... and 24 hours a day of Faux News ~~~~~ and the nation didn't buy ANY of it on November 4th !!!!

~~~
5. Oh p.s... I'm with Amonester. Good luck trying to get a DU'er to open a WND link ...
.
.
I've never seen anyone here that will tread near that place and the very few times I've seen someone mention it here, members have said thanks, but no thanks as far as looking at the link.
Think anyone will open a WND link here? .....
6. It is the results of home schooling
Many freepers get their educations in a closed loop, filtered, one sided manner that fails to recognize the function of government.
Who needs a government when God will take care of you?
7. Republicans are fond of the flaming-pie-from-the-sky school of economics.
Apparently that's where the money to run the government comes from.
9. I'll answer one of your questions.
Do they not even see how their idea is in direct opposition to their stated goals?
Not so much as a fuzzy glimmer.
And yes, I know it was a rhetorical question. I just enjoyed answering it. Here is where one of my children would scream, "Walter!" That's how they say "dumbass" without swearing around adults. Even they know what a fucked up suggestion this is.
