"special election not in the budget"
counties in Illinois want to know how they are going to pay for a special election. the special election for Illinois 14th house seat cost my county 80,000 dollars. there are local elections in feb and march but is there time for the democrats and republicans to field a state wide candidate? what will the cost state wide? a vacant senate seat is not what we need for the people of illinois and the nation.
