This weekend, ET's own Mary Hart was invited to one of the most exclusive addresses in America -- the White House!

Mary went to Washington to interview First Lady Laura Bush, who opened up about her husband, President George W. Bush's surprise trip to Iraq over the weekend. Laura says that while she knew about the trip for some days, it was a surprise to most of the rest of the world when they woke up Sunday morning to see that the Commander in Chief was in the Middle East. On how he pulled it off, she tells Mary, "George told everyone goodnight ... and we kissed goodbye and he snuck out."

And ET was at the White House the day news broke that a journalist had thrown two shoes at the president during a press conference in Iraq.
