"Don't kick him in the head" was overheard as shoe thrower was beaten next door
Heard this on the national news this morning.

Journalists heard the shoe thrower being kicked in the next room. Guards could be saying "don't kick him in the head".

Why didn't US SS or Bush protest the beating that was occuring in their earshot?

1. Hell, Bush probably ordered it.
He seemed to grin when the guy was getting taken down. He is a sadistic bastard who probably ensured the journalist was detained and tortured indefinitely.

10. He was the same way when the death penalty was carried out in Texas.

When he was Governor. He gets his rocks off on something like this.

2. It was a sign of liberty and justice for all in Iraq
I guess bush has been unable to control the audience in Iraq as he did in our country.

4. What language were the guards speaking?
Not to be an apologist for bush, but it's doubtful that he understands ant language that an Iraqi guard may have been speaking. He just barely understands English.

11. If the journalists could hear the guard talking, they could also hear
the shoe-thrower being beaten. And if the journalists could hear it, so could Bush. And if Bush can't understand Arabic, he certainly can understand thumps, moans and groans.

He knew what was going on.

5. he obviously was injured before being dragged out...

<snip>

Bush told reporters later that he didn't think "you can take one guy throwing shoes and say this represents a broad movement in Iraq. You can try to do that if you want but I don't think that would be accurate."

The act was condemned by the Iraqi government, which called on Al-Baghdadia television to publicly apologize.

A crowd descended on the man after the incident. Several moments elapsed before he was dragged out by security officials, leaving a blood trail behind.

6. Why didn't Bush protest it? Because he's every bit the dog the journalist said he was.
