A priceless reaction to the shoe throwing clip
I just had to share this moment with others who might appreciate it.

I'm visiting family in NJ this week and yesterday after we finished dinner at my sister's, we saw the clip on tv. My 89 year old mostly blind, mostly deaf, wheelchair-bound grandmother who has had four strokes (that we know of), quadruple bypass surgery, a hip replacement and can barely mumble a few sounds at this point could not see the TV. I quickly pulled the clip up on my laptop and showed it to her. She raised her hands over her head, clapped and managed a quiet but jubilant, "Yaaaaaaaahhhhhh"!

Everybody else in the room cheered and clapped with her. It was one of the most precious moments of my life.

Thank you Muntadar al-Zaidi. I hope the reports of your post-incident treatment are inaccurate and exaggerated.

5. Oh, what a lovely grandmother you have.
I really love elderly people. Most of them know right from wrong, and it is very refreshing.
