Can someone please talk to Dubya??
We understand that he is obsessively concerned about his legacy, but it is leading him to do crazy things. He should not have gone to Baghdad at this time. He's lucky someone did not do him serious physical harm. He was able to dodge the shoe this time. But what about the next?

That is why someone needs to talk to Dubya. History will decide 50 years from now what his place should be. Also, history will decide today what happened 6-8 years ago. Yesterday is history. It's not just 50 years into the future.

He believes he can remedy his present poor legacy by traveling abroad, even to places that hate him? What could he have been thinking? Is this his way of showing us that victory has been found in Baghdad? Anyway, if he wants to varnish up his legacy, he doesn't need to go abroad, he needs to talks to the folks here in the good old USA...

1. Long story short...no.
No one can talk to him, because he's been in a delusional
fantasy-land his entire life. His brain filters everything
anyone says into something he wants to hear, and modern science
just doesn't have a cure for that.

There is NO WAY to ever "get through" to him. None.
Accept that and get on with your life.

2. I don't agree he's trying to salvage his legacy.
I think he's still telling himself that he "spread freedom" in EYErack and all those purple fingers are proof that if they had roses to throw at him they would.

the man is not reality based in any way shape or form.

5. I don't need fifty years to write the truth about Bush's legacy.
Edited on Tue Dec-16-08 07:15 AM by malaise
Those of us who lived through his reign of error already know he is the king of clusterfucks.
George Bush is an arrogant, incompetent, delusional war criminal. He destroyed Iraq, he destroyed the economy and he destroyed every good feeling the planet had for the USA.

Nothing he or any historian says about his legacy will change that - fifty years my ass - maybe they're banking on those who experienced this mess being dead or dying - maybe they're hoping for the loss of collective memory.

He's a fucking irresponsible liar, murderer and incompetent - that's his legacy. You can wait fifty years.
