If this is the way Blagojevich wants to go out, fine. He's alienated many in the state legislature a long time ago. In my opinion, his impeachment and conviction is a foregone conclusion.
He can still do the decent and honorable thing and resign. But I don't think he's capable of "decent" and "honorable" anymore. I think those two traits are utterly foreign to our for now governor.

1. now we are stuck with a special election |
|
the special election for the 14th cost my county 80,000. i`m not sure of the total cost of all the counties in the 14th but none of these counties can afford a special election. state wide it will cost millions. there are local elections in feb and march in many counties but is this enough time for the two parties to "select" a candidate and fund a campaign?
so the democrats and republican party will select a candidate for us to vote for....nice is`t it.
yup.."decent" and "honorable" will not be part of his legacy
