Caroline Stands on the Shoulders of Giants

She is every bit as qualified as most who have held a Senate seat. The rub seems to be the being selected, rather than elected. But, whoever Patterson chooses would be in that same situation. And, whoever Patterson selects will have to face elections, nearly four years of elections. I have nothing against Caroline Kennedy getting the nod. I am sure she'd be better than half of the Senators we have suffered through for years.

1. And Who Knows - After 8 Years Of A Successful Obama Presidency She Could Be The First.......
woman president of the U.S. as she'd still be young enough and could have 8 years as a Senator under her belt.

3. Sweet! No doubt she would ensure the continuation of Obama's vision
plus add her own vision and her perspective as a woman and a mother. We would get our first woman president and she would be a Democrat!

I'm liking this scenario...

6. Well, the Republic survived the full circle of John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams.
I guess somebody could make a case that the Adamses were in a way dynastic, but the difference was in the character and wisdom they had. I see the same kind of situation with JFK and CKS.
