Yes, I can guess the kind of "data" that would determine things for Bush and that ilk, just as for the Gulf Coast: Louisiana, Democratic? "No." Mississippi, Republican? "Yes."

Here: Michigan, Democratic? "No." Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, mixed but generally Democratic? "No." Illinois, Democratic? "No." Those are the only vital statistics that matter to this group.
