Bush: "I don't know what his beef is."
In an interview with Martha Raddetz after the infamous shoe flinging incident, His Chimperial Highness said, "And so, the guy wanted to get on TV and he did. I don't know what his beef is. "

That's our boy, pretending to be utterly clueless to the last, oblivious to the horrific consequences of his actions as President.

The only explanation he can come up with is that the man's action was something positive born out of the freedom that America bestowed upon Iraq.

He glossed over the bit about the man shouting something about Iraqi widows and orphans, and Martha "Bull Dog" Raddetz didn't press him on that part of the incident either.

My fellow Americans -- it could have been worse. He could have misspoken -- again! -- and said something like "I don't know what the man's pork is." Who would have been shocked, especially after describing his GWOT as a "new Crusade" ?

2. I agree
At first I thought "How can he not know the significance of shoes in that culture?"

Then I thought about his actions over the last 8 years.

Oh yeah, nevermind.

5. give the man credit
he correctly identified that getting a show throw at you was probably a sign the guy had some sort of beef with him. I mean I would expected him to claim it was shoes throws of happiness and joy.
