12. I've said this before.....

but I don't get why it's an issue. I really and truly don't.

I live in Canada. There's been less fuss after gay marriage was legalized (first by the courts, and then by the legislature) than before, and no-one except the few very religious nuts wants to go back and re-visit the issue. It's a done deal, and it's the right thing.


Nor do I believe that there should be a referendum on civil rights. There are times when the right thing is not the popular thing, and the popular thing changes with the times and need.

Human rights remain, regardless.
