A straight retired truck driver who knocked on doors with a lesbian is very upset with Obama's selection of Rick Warren. He made a profound point - Some of the things spewed out of Rick Warren's mouth have led to gays and lesbians being attacked in the streets. That is the real problem with this selection. Inviting Warren is the same as inviting David Duke or Rush Limbaugh. You don't seek inclusion with people who hate.

Peter does a "tribute" to Paul Weyrich? The "architect" of conservatism? How about a wreteched piece of humanoid shit whose "philosophy" is what led to the destruction of this country. The fact he and Falwell are no longer on this planet makes this a far better world.
Then there's the hit job going on about the Clintons? Since when do people still refer to Hillary as "HRC"? (of course a reference to HRH...which was pointed out to me a long time ago by a wingnut).
Regarding Warren...he's Falwell in a Hawaiian shirt and is slicker than oil...and I regret he was chosen, but I will not be watching nor care to hear anything he has to say. The burden is on him and his ilk to show some compassion...meet the measure. Not that I'm expecting anything to happen, but who knows.
Now back to watching the snow...
