Help me watch out for my neighbors

I've been married for a number of years. My second marriage, actually (my first was to a nutjob). Her first. We live together, are married, are happy.

A gay couple down the street got married. I don't personally care myself, but I keep hearing how they will threaten my marriage (between husband and wife).

What should I look out for? Are they going to convert either myself or my wife to their "agenda"? What is that, and can I prevent it?

Please, god, I don't want to lose my wife over this. What's going to happen to us???? I wasn't expecting this threat. I thought that as long as I loved my wife, and we cultivated our own friends and didn't bother anyone we'd be happy together and stay together as long as we wanted to unless we decided to divorce. Now I understand there's this "threat" to my personal marriage.

Anyone, please tell me what the threat is and what steps I need to protect myself. If the steps are banning gay marriage, then if they're both single, won't they be further able to threaten my marriage, since they won't have a commitment to each other?

Your marriage is as good as over. You and your wife better start looking for same sex partners. You can still be friends, though.
