Prayers have been part of the opening ceremonies of American governmental ceremonies since the time of the Founders. To call an invocational prayer unconstitutional, you'd have to call the authors of the Constitution unconstitutional, too.

In fact they would've had daily prayers at the Constitutional Convention itself if the convention hadn't run out of funds for hiring a preacher.

The only part of the Constitution dealing with religion (no establishment) has stood side by side with public prayers from 1791 to now without either impinging on the other. By standing tradition, prayers have been nonsectarian and thus not establishmentarian. People can pray in public together without favoring creation of a state church.
