5. It's a year retrospective show

Sadly, this is usually the time he goes into two weeks of best-of-the-year retrospectives. He tapes two forms of year-end wrapup show and then reruns them over and over again until after the new year or until someone important dies and they force him back onto the job for a while...whichever comes first.

Don't expect new news from him until 2009.
