I want all the stores to have plastic bag, styrofoam, and other types
of recycling bins in the front of their stores. The supermarkets have them why can't Walgreens and 7 Eleven and Piggly Wiggly?

I don't know who to contact or how to do this.

I also think they should make paint and other types of hazardous recycling bins easier to access and not just one Saturday a month.

I don't see how hard this could be.

But I want someone to tell me how to do it or to help or to just do it by themselves.

BTW - my town gives us these HUGE recycling bins on rollers. I barely have more than one or two actual garbage bags to put out. Everything else gets into the recycle bins. And the head of that city department said they did it that way specifically to get people to recycle more and it seems like it is working.

1. good idea. Barbara Boxer is the chair of environment, and she is asking for
suggestions from the public on her website. She has done a shout out several times for people to come forward with ideas.

2. Unfortunately, styrofoam can't be recycled.
You'd think they could at least chip it up and use it for packing material, though.
