Dan Gross is probably my favorite Newsweek author at this point (behind Karl Rove of course ;)). His brilliant reporting on the subprime/financial collapse was featured in his October piece : 'The right blames the credit crisis on poor minority homeowners. This is not merely offensive, but entirely wrong'.

He followed that up with another great article, : 'Many ethical subprime lenders still manage to make plenty of money'. These articles are must reads for anyone wanting to win the water-cooler wars vs obnoxious republicans parroting . Gross also discussing 'A Risk Worth Taking'. If you're too lazy to read or you find this topic interesting, don't miss it. NOTE: It's not a YouTube clip, it'll most likely open up in Windows Media Player or Quicktime depending your set-up.

Yesterday Gross was on TYT to discuss (another non-YouTube clip). As always it was a very interesting discussion. And if that wasn't enough, for Vanity Fair.

PS---In case you missed it, this Huffington Post article on marriage equality and The Bible has around 70,000 views at HuffPo, and it was the third highest rated item here at DU at one point yesterday (I imagine it would have been higher but for some crazy reason it never appeared on the homepage): .
