It's tainted money!

1. No. Rick Warren would just do more evil with it.
They should use it to send him pizzas.

2. I think we should look at ALL "charities" a little closer. nt

4. It would be interesting to look at the ones he supported
to see which donations came with strings attached.

"Here's some money for aids medication. By the way, you can only use it if you agree not to teach about aids prevention, or provide condoms." Creating more aids cases, then taking credit as a humanitarian for treating the ones he caused. My favorite analogy for this is deliberately giving someone cancer, then wanting an award for providing them a wig after they go through chemo.

6. It would also be interesting to see what their administrative costs are relative
to what they spend on direct services.

How does one go about finding such things?

14. Indeed. Relief ought not to be left to the mercies of conmen like Warren. NT

5. If those charities bought food for starving children with the money should they give the food back?
And maybe if the children already ate the food they could force the kids to vomit it up or send the kids to Rick Warren.

9. Telling Charities to give back millions in donations is retarded.
They need that money, maybe the OP could offer to replace Dollar for Dollar the money Rick Warren gave if the charities gives the money back.

7. They're in no position to do so. That's part of the problem with conmen like Warren -
they exploit the vulnerability of the disenfranchised.

12. Relief for the vulnerable should not be left to the devices of conmen like Rick Warren.
That's my opinion.
