That's the reason why Obama has his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, and his political advisors Axelrod and Plouffe, along with legal counsel. They're the ones that know all the dirty tricks in the beltway, like burrowing, for example, and they can give Obama advice for dealing with it in a way that's legal and ethical and won't expose him to attacks he can't handle.
