Humor The tenseness of what is going down right now -
the scrambling and disassembling in the R Party ....

perhaps because of it ...

the humor, quips, and skits have never been better.

Inhofe DeLay Gingrich Toensing - unbelievable behavior and positions.

Scandal following scandal.

Credibility plunging.

Humor soaring.

What a week.

All the bullying, all the obnoxious in-law fuckhead brothers in law, all the arrogant smirks . . .

It all comes down to the endgame. And the endgame is just beginning. In the words of Winston Churchill, after the Battle of Britain: "This is not the end. This is not the beginning of the end. But it may well be the end of the Beginning."

How sweet it is, Baby!

6. Yeh, it'd be quite enjoyable, if it weren't for all the dead people
Even victory is tinged with sadness. We've paid too dear a price for letting them do this to us.

more to come because so many want to stay for reasons from oil and domination to fear, votes, the concept of patriotism - all blind to the profit for a few.

Normally people use the word bear. What some have to bear is more than others.

We should also refer to what we have been expected to ACCEPT.

The sorrow and loss from death dismemberment and destruction.
The sorrow of losing our country from all angles.
The force that has descended on us from a few.
The discovery of their intent.
The support given to them.
Their assumptions.
Their arrogance.

They assume that we will accept that they own us.
That we will accept imperialism.
That we will look away at torment and torture.
That we won't mind the missing billions upon billions.
That we will find that the fact that we are now owned by debtors including a Communist nation is 'no problema'.
That we will find no problem with policies born from their concept of acceptable religious-military-corporate-think tank laws and practices.

They want to us accept their crime and their hypocrisy.

Is that the way humor is born?
Is humor our tool? Or our healer? Or our rallying cry?

So far, PNAC, AIE, the Federalist Society, DOD, and the WH have not drafted a law to take it away from us.

There is no legislation on the table to take it away from us - even from C. Sensenbrenner or left in draft form for us by DeLay as written by Dobson.

3. I keep waiting
for them to get slapped with a blatantly direct question about the hypocrisy of their witch-hunt on Clinton, and all the hours and hours of sworn testimony over a private matter and somehow being forced to defend the difficult position of being against sworn testimony regarding cronyism, and corruption with regards to the USA firings, and the many, many other offenses of this admin.

I'm hoping for a response akin to:

". . . <blink, blink>
. . . <blink, blink>
. . . <blink, blink>
Well. . . SHIT!"

4. And I think it's only going to get better
The Democrats have had the subpoena power for just a few weeks. What will it be like in a few months? It seems that ChimpCo took every opportunity to push the envelope of legality in everything they touched over the last 6 years. I think the best revelations are yet to come.

5. Humor soaring.
I remember reading something a political cartoonist said about the Nixon/Watergate era, and his art:

"That was OUR Camelot." Supposedly, he said this with a glow in his eyes.

I wish I could remember the name of the cartoonist. He was so right.
