Before everyone goes into panic mode, let's keep in mind that Mrs Edwards has been getting top notch care and has been a big advocate of frequent check ups based on her earlier successes in frighting cancer. So if what they tell us tomorrow is that they've gotten bad news from their oncologist, it will be bad news that has been caught in the very earliest stages possible for catching it. By far the most likely diagnosis should be that they caught it exactly when they needed to catch it in order to have a successful return match for an enemy they've already beaten once.

She had them twice; once for the child born in 1999 and for the one born in 2001. It takes repeated courses of hormones before a successful pregnancy and she did it twice; I wonder if there's a link between that and her unfortunate bouts with cancer.

Hate to be the wet blanket, but ask anyone who's seen it or seen anyone else with it, and it's not "when" you catch it...it's the pathology that makes all the difference.

key for her. It was key for my girlfriend's mom. 20 years cancer free, thanks to early detection.

My father just successfully battled kidney cancer. His doctor, tops in the field of urologic oncology, also said catching it early made the difference.
