Saw MILK. It's fabulous.

Can't recommend it highly enough. Sean Penn is terrific.

They use real news footage all through the movie and I thought that was a great technique.

My 30 year old son was a month old when Milk was killed and he went to see it with me tonight. He walked out saying how sad it is that most of the issues in that film are still not resolved today, the struggle continues, for his entire life.

Great film. Very powerful. Go see it.

But it wasn't a PBS special, it was a documentary feature that won the Best Documentary Oscar in 1985. I wouldn't doubt it got shown on PBS though.

..it IS magnificent. Highly recommended. They seem to have stuck with the story with no embellishments (not needed).

I left the theater feeling the same - that it was sad and really rather rediculous that the issues in the film are STILL not resolved and the same struggle continues. Exasperating.

But a damn good film. GO SEE IT.

4. It is a fantastic movie and Penn was brilliant. Although some progress has been made in the over 30

years since Milk's death, the struggle still goes on.

Obama's decision to have Warren give the invocation at the Inauguration came on the heels of my seeing Milk and I am enraged by that decision. Enough is enough.

I believe that will hit home to a lot of people once they see Milk.

It is excellent. I am old enough to remember the actual events. I was in college at the time.

Victor Garber (the naval architect in Titanic) is Mayor Moscone.

my kid already saw it and is going with me this weekend(She was one of the countless extras there too. She loved seeing a movie being made). She and her bf said it's a real tearjerker. I can't wait.
