What next for Howard Dean?

I believe that Howard Dean and grass roots activism was a major part in ousting the Bush Crime Family, at least for the time being. If they, BCF, are not prosecuted, they will be back stronger than ever. I am concerned with Obama’s selection of Rahm Emanuel and his turning his back on Dean that next election might not go as well. IMHO it is a move away from the grass roots of the Party.

Some in here believe that Rahm, the DLC and big money, are what got Obama elected. I believe this is dangerous thinking.

I believe that those that discourage (or fail to encourage) grass roots activism are our enemy, whether republican or Democrat. There is a solid aristocratic class in America. They obviously control the republican party. We must not allow them to control the Democratic Party. Many claim it is too late. I have to believe we can still fight them. The activism supporting Obama is proof we, the lower classes, have some power. The aristocratic class does not like grass roots activism.

I think a key to future success of the lower classes rests with Howard Dean as well as Obama. What will Howard do next?

I hope everyone is having a peaceful holiday season.

1. Howard Dean could chair "Democracy for America" again.
That was his job before he was chairman of the DNC.

11. The right wing has had a wide variety of conservative think tanks,
whose members create policy papers and appear on every talk show there is. They are quoted constantly.

Howard Dean is possibly the only person on the Democratic side who seems to possess the vision and organizational ability to create the same kind of thing--except progressive.

I'd like to see Dr. Dean involved in that kind of effort.

4. Ungrateful bastards
Howard was one of, if not the main, reason Obama came out on top. He has been completely snubbed. This may come back to bite the Dems in the ass.

9. Howards' main issue was health care
Via Democracy for America he can help us push against the Republicans, who want to nix universal healthcare or make it unbearable. Republicans feel that if universal health care passes and works for the common person then the Republicans may go extinct as a party.
