Moyers, on this Boxing Day 2008

I'm intending to post more detail when I get a round tuit, but Moyers on religion was genius tonight, as in "may save the human race."

Basic idea - we're all looking to be kind to one another as far as possible, and the dogma is getting in the way. Think mustard seed.

Which is a Christian reference even thought I'm an atheist, because I remember the story (repeated in Mary Renault, whom I adore) and a pendant I received as a gift, with which I have always identified.

I don't like the human race much of the time, and I disagreed with some stuff in the program, but what's the alternative?
