"Raising the minimum wage is not improving people's lives." WTF?
Schwarzenegger to Limbaugh: I'm not selling out

SACRAMENTO, California (CNN) -- Call it Round 2 in the battle between Arnold and Rush, although this time the jabs were a little more gentle -- and were thrown head to head, on Limbaugh's radio show.

The feud was launched Tuesday when California Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger called the conservative radio talk show host "irrelevant" on NBC's "Today" show. The comment was in response to Limbaugh's characterization of Schwarzenegger as a "closet liberal."

"I'm not his servant," Schwarzenegger said Tuesday. "I'm the people's servant of California." (Watch Schwarzenegger call Limbaugh "irrelevant"

--snip--

Limbaugh countered that "conservatism is the best way to serve the people. Raising the minimum wage is not improving people's lives."

3. If Oxycontin Boy
was paid what he's worth(about half of minimum wage) he might feel differently. You notice how all of the people against raising the minimum wage are all making hundreds of times that amount.

so he lived well.. and even when he was Jeff Christie, Boy Wonder, he probably sponged off Pops.

Now that he's a brazillionaire, I wish there was some way to take all his money and make HIM live on $10 an hour ..

He'd have to cut his viagra & oxycontins in quarters :)

7. Yeah I caught a bit of that
It's pretty cynical these days; He didn't even bother to make an argument in favor of lowering the Minimum Raise (or eliminating it entirely, which is clearly what he would prefer).

9. He wants to Cut and Run from the War on Poverty

Seriously though, supposedly, according to the Con mantra you can support people who disagree with you (like Guiliani) without abandoning your principles. Except that flies in the face against Limbaugh's "carrying the water" for people in the run up to November. :freak:

he's just a blow-hard who will be humbled one day. I believe in karma. I just thought it had reached him with the drug scandal, so that leads me to believe when it does happen, it will be even sweeter.
