The people with knowledge of all the wrongdoing are those under pressure to come forward and testify. We certainly do not allow those people to limit the scope of what they might be required to testify about.

And these people know that the door is presently slightly ajar, but once opened it will lead to all kinds of political corruption that likely will dwarf the present allegations.

IMHO this investigation is like an approaching freight train. All that has happened so far is we hear a faint train whistle in the distance, and the train is slowly beginning to move. However, this train is on a downhill track, and as it comes into view it will pick up speed and won't be stopping anytime soon. Seasoned Republicans know this, and the best they can do is place distance between this White House and its policies, and remain largely silent.

1. It's like the Kennedy Assassination....
I remember clearly where I was when the news came over the radio regarding the break-in. I also remember clearly the feeling that the WH 'had something to do with it'. Wasn't too off-base, was I?

2. Bush has proven to be worse than Nixon.
If it were in his power, would Bush defend Nixon for what he did?
Would Nixon defend Bush for what he did?
Talk amongst yourselves.
