Sen. Inhofe says Gore will 'absolutely' run for president
Sen. Inhofe says Gore will 'absolutely' run for president
David Edwards
Published: Thursday March 22, 2007

One day after former Vice President Al Gore issued a "planetary emergency" warning to a Senate panel on global warming, Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) predicted that climate change critics were "gonna win this one."

"When started talking about 'This is worse than World War II' and all these extreme things, I think his credibility is going down," Inhofe said today on Fox & Friends. "I see the scientists changing ... We're gonna win this one."

After referring to Gore's testimony as a "science fiction movie," Inhofe joked that Gore "emits twenty percent more greenhouse gases than the average person."

The Republican senator also said he thinks that Gore will "absolutely" run for president in 2008.

6. Damn... And I was *so* hoping Gore would run...
But, given Inhofe's, at best, passing acquaintance with facts and the truth, I have to figure that it's a guarantee that Gore's just going to stay with the environment stuff and not run for President.

11. He's just saying that because he thinks
Gore was grandstanding. He doesn't know shit about what Gore will or won't do.

8. Inhofe is a small man with a small mind. Gore's appearnce yesterday
gave voters a real contrast in models of public service.

14.  I was absolutely gobsmacked when watching Inhofe's performance yesterday
during Pres. Gore's testimony.
He seemed highly agitated; almost JEALOUS of Al. Fairly spitting his questions, and rudely interrupting Mr. Gore's attempts to reply.
He revealed himself to be a bitter partisan hack.

15. Even if Gore did emit 20% for greenhouse gases than the average person
Inhofe emits noxious fumes that would kill a shitfly.

16. Wishful thinking on Inhofe's part. He relishes the thought of blaming all the GOP shit on Gore
Gore sure looked like he was enjoying his present situation. Have to ask why he would trade it for the headaches and real restraints of being in the Oval Office.

He has more freedom as the rabble rouser on the outside ;)

20. I see the scientists changing
See? Does he read scientists results. Because their papers have become MORE definitive in the last 6 years not less. You have to have an incredibly shallow understanding of the current scientific literature to think some how a magic wand is going to be wave to make 25 years of scientific facts go away...

25. little Jimmy Inhofe had a temper tantrum yesterday - made grownups laugh!
and by virtue of his vitriolic attacks against Al Gore, he probably changed alot of minds to support Gore's efforts on climate change. That is how silly he looked. Inhofe is a Big Oil Brat!:silly:  :puke:
