3. You don't know what's going on behind the scenes

and neither do I.

It seems to me the major deal breaker is the "no transcript." That one is just plain silly. In order to avoid a massive fight, the White House may concede that one. Then again, we've never known Stupid to concede a single thing to Democrats.

If there are no concessions in the next few days, I'm sure the subpoenas will be signed. Then the White House will play that game of forbidding the Secret Service to accept them. Then the fight will begin.
