Alberto Gonzales: Pet Shop Boy
Alberto Gonzales, who has kept a low profile since resigning as attorney general nearly 16 months ago, said he is writing a book to set the record straight about his controversial tenure as a senior official in the Bush administration...

"What is it that I did that is so fundamentally wrong, that deserves this kind of response to my service?" he said during an interview Tuesday, offering his most extensive comments since leaving government.

During a lunch meeting two blocks from the White House, where he served under his longtime friend, President George W. Bush, Mr. Gonzales said that "for some reason, I am portrayed as the one who is evil in formulating policies that people disagree with. I consider myself a casualty, one of the many casualties of the war on terror."

In other words...

What have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this??

1. This from a man from a crew that knows there are a lot of opportunities!
Oh, there's a lot of opportunities
If you know when to take them, you know?
There's a lot of opportunities
If there aren't, you can make them

and make them they did...

HEE HEE HAW HAW

where life is beautiful all the time
and you'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats
cause they're coming to take you away HA HA
to the funny farm
with trees and flowers and chirping birds
and basket weavers who sit and smile and wiggle their thumbs and toes
cause they're coming to take you away HA HA

5. Oh, I so want to just smack him...
He is the one that would truly deserve our bringing back a new form of "tar and feathering", complete with the public humiliation...One that doesn't involve heating the tar, as I don't wish to burn him, just majorly humiliate.

He, of course, deserves a long term prison term, but initially, he truly does need the "wake-up."

7. Maybe the Republican cronies have been "supporting" him financially,
and his free ride is about to end?

Isn't that what they do when they try to get one of their controversial figures out of the spotlight? Just sayin'.

8. What's so wrong is that the media won't call bullshit...
...when he pretends not to understand what was wrong. In such a climate, why wouldn't he play the victim to rehabilitate is image?
