The usual news end-of-the-year reflections are saying what a bad year 2008 was.
IMO, despite the economic problems, and perennial natural disasters, wars, etc...

2008 has been my favorite year in many years.

What say you?

1. Mixed. Obama's election was the highlight, but lots of people lost houses, jobs.
George W. Bush remained president, continuing his reign as the worst in history.

On the bright side, the Red Wings won the cup. But then there was that football team . . .
