I just donated to John Edwards' campaign
This is for YOU, John and Elizabeth. Keep your health and strength for a rough season ahead. Elizabeth, you have inspired me beyond words.

May the best man and woman win in 2008.

1. I'm about to do the same thing, after sitting on the fence for awhile...
"Character counts"---these people have character.

3. I'll say. I'm a Gore supporter but
I suspect that he's not going to run, and am so impressed with Edwards family. I want them to have a shot to get their message out.

5. She is sure my first choice for First Lady!
We need leadership that is humane and interested in THE PEOPLE first.

7. She's already accomplished more than she could know
how many women will make those mammogram appointments they've been putting off, follow up on the odd pain. How many cancer survivors and family members will be uplifted and inspired.

She's an inspiration that transcends politics.

11. Yep. Lots of kids will get to have their moms around longer because of her example
Lots of women will survive cancer.

Sometimes what we need is an example that life is worth living to the max.

She is that. And she wants to help save the nation too. That is a patriot.

:patriot:

12. LOL follow in stepford's footsteps? Not hardly. She would be her own trailblazer
America needs good leadership. Not all leaders hold elected office. Some of our best leaders never stood an election.

They led just the same. She has already shown she can lead. And she has shown there is no need to lose one's humanity in the process.

8. I donated a few weeks ago when
he refused to participate in the Fox News Channel debate. What's not to like about either John or Elizabeth or their positions on issues?

10. Yes, this afternoon, Atrios said, "When I grow up,
I want to be as classy as the Edwards." My throat closed up at that.

13. Yep, I was holding out for Gore but
JE has always been my backup candidate. After watching Gore testify, I just had the feeling he ain't gonna run - he's happy doing what he's doing.

I'm be proud and happy to get behind JE's campaign and today seems like as good a day as any.
