arguing over presidential prerogatives. The point is to get them into the committee and sworn in. After that, there's much more to be done. Right now there's a dance between the WH and the committee, but the WH will bend with the political tide.

I don't know how anyone can criticize the chairmen for not being proactive enough. There's always someone shouting behind them to hurry on without any regard at all to providing the actual support these Democrats need to effectively win the political debate and pressure the WH. These days. all the opposition has to do is wait a tick and (Democrats) will step up and do the flogging of their party and members themselves.
