HELP! This Is Going To Seem STUPID... But I Need Some Verification About

Iraq & Afghanistan after 9/11! Having a heated discussion with hubby who isn't THE political one in this family and I need to prove a point to him.

The questions are... when did America invade Iraq (I know, stupid but stay with me) and when did we send troops into Afghanistan?

I need this information from an outside source to settle this conversation, so I'll just leave it at that. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hey, the guy still has chauvinistic tendencies. We are Boomers and I jumped the shark must too fast for him! Plus, he a native Floridian & we lived in Texas for a long time because we were both Army brats!

11. Sorry For The Late Reply... I Logged Off & Went To Settle The Question

Since Iraq made ALL of the news he said we went to Iraq first! I said I could PROVE he was wrong, but it wasn't a harsh argument over all. It started off with my talking about the conspiracy theories about 9/11 and how I had been hearing more and more people talk about it.

When Iraq was invaded I TOLD HIM and many many others that the whole thing was an inside job because I had previously read some articles that Greg Palast wrote BEFORE 9/11 ever happened. AND things he wrote BEFORE The Idiot was crowned and seated in the White House. It's been a long time coming, but now I've been vindicated! Then I mentioned what I had been hearing on C-Span and reading now and again about the Twin Towers, the references that it was an inside job. I was handed a CD when I was in D.C. for an Anti-War March that covers 9/11 and covers an extensive review of how the towers came down and features quite a few knowledgeable people explaining different aspects. The people in the CD don't appear to be nut jobs or left wing, socialist radicals.

I haven't absolutely decided about 9/11, but admit there are times I wonder and then wonder some more. After all these years have passed and what we've been subjected to, AND my visceral feelings about The Idiot & The Dick, my gut says they wouldn't have been above doing such a horrible deed. Still, it's hard to actually think it was possible. As with Iraq, we were sold down the river and sold down the river over and over with so many other crimes, I'm more cynical now than I ever thought I could be. Still????


As I said, I sit & wonder & then wonder some more.
