I look in over at http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/index.php every now and then. If you can put up with the GOP propaganda, there's lots of interesting stuff to look at.

9. These are all wonderful

and many are very painful. So many years of human development but we really haven't progressed much, have we?

Sadly, its easy to just accept the fatalist view where these sort of events will go on forever and there is nothing we can do to stop human suffering...Here's hoping 2009 is truly the year for positive change.
