...it is Reagan's fault, indirectly.

He was the one who backed Greenspan's policies of cheap money for all those years. He and Arthur Laffer were the ones saying deficits weren't important.

I'd say it was Reagan's fault for starting all this and then Greenspan's fault for carrying it on and Helicopter Ben's fault for knowing better but doing it anyway.

If you listen to Peter Schiff, he says 2009 is gonna be worse than 2008. We'll start to clean up a little bit after that and come into a recovery by 2012. He was also saying some scary things earlier today about the auto industry and their business model and how if you can't afford a car without financing it, you can't afford to drive.
